So yea, I hope everyone remembers "bare minimum" that's been fulfilled.
Remember we only need to breathe like every 30 seconds. So yeah... You'd think "Ok, Chuy... GREAT! We breathe as much as we want. Yay, Yay, Yay" Have you ever thought what keeps us stuck to the ground? That's an easy question right?
GRAVITY! YEAH! Anyways, let me continue with this. I'm not physic Ph. D, but we know how gravity works. The equal amount of force is being pulled down as the mass. So something that's 30 kilo is not necessarily because of it's 30 kilo but that's how strong our gravity pulls down. Ok, so this sounds way complicated, right? Here let me just simply go straight to the point. Have you thought about "what if the gravity was twice as strong as now? Meaning your weight is doubled. Wait! NOT MY WEIGHT! Oh no~ Let's be honest, that's the least of our problems. That would mean the air would weigh twice! Ok, if it doesn't dawn upon you, the air would be falling down towards ground so fast, you'd choke before you can say "Arma Derci Ventus" (Good bye Air) then again, you can't say anything cause sound is vibration of the air. Ok, let's think the other way. The air is twice lighter. "YAY! I'm lighter now!" I'm talking about air again. The air would float and float and float and you can't breathe. So again, you'd choke before "Arma Derci Ventus" So yes, Gravity is VERY precise to our need. Isn't that amazing? Eh? Eh?
Ok, so water is cool too, ya know? Have you ever heard of "hydrogen bond"? Basically keep the water bound to each other. Doesn't sound like much, right? Ok, let's think the waters didn't stick to each other. That would mean the water would not be bound to each other. Wow, that's hard. Yes, it's hard. Because if the water didn't stick to each other, then it would not have enough force to push all the body's waste nor would it be any good to be used as blood. Nifty, yes?
What else did I talk about? Food? Do you remember we would fair well enough without food? Did you ever thought what would happen if your metabolic rate was twice the speed? You think it's cool? No it's not, I actually have a friend who's metabolic rate is 2.5 times faster than me. He could DIE if he doesn't eat. Not to mention your life expectancy will be shorten. Be grateful.
Let's add something else, why not, right? Ok, it's slightly not the most exciting subject. Let me ask you this. Are you a winter or summer person? Can you handle either of the climate 24/7/12/100 (day/week/month/year) Cause if the earth didn't rotate with slight angle, you'd be forced to be living in the world where you'd have to travel REAL long time to see snow or lake that's not frozen depending on where you live.
So I bet you are wondering, you already gave this sermon-like post. What do you intend to get through! I'll get right to the point. Everything works for good! Romans 8:28! Every little bit, even to the molecular level, God works everything for His purpose! So give thanks to our Lord and King, for His love endures forever! Whoo!
Para la gloria de Dios!

» I dreamed a dream
Ok, the story time. Gather around the screen and let me tell ya a story. This story is actually a dream. A dream that's been told many times. It starts like this.
One day a man was carrying his daily cross and following Jesus... Then he got very tired... tired of carrying the cross. So he begged Jesus...
"Lord... please... let me carry other cross... this burden... it just isn't for me....!"
Jesus then reaches to him and takes his cross and puts it along many different crosses. Then He says "Take whatever you feel is best! You may follow me with that cross!"
The man was quite satisfied with Jesus' answer and he went off for a search of a cross. He picked the smallest cross there was, it was made with pure lead. So he left it there, then he went for the most elegant looking cross. Then he picked it up and realized it was made of diamond and rough around edges. He wanted it, but the pain was unbearable. Then he looked behind and there was a cross looks pretty light and when picked it up, it was light but it was made of thorn tree. He looked around and found another cross and he picked it up and tried to carry it and it was best out of all of 'em. The man said to the Lord.
"Lord! I belive I found a cross that matches me perfect! I choose this one!"
Then Lord smiled and said "Dear child, look at the cross you chose... It's the exactly the same cross you tried to get rid of"
Powerful message. Very Very powerful. God knows what's best (Matthew 10:29-31). 1 Chorinthian 10:13! The reason I never give the full verse is because I don't want you guys to be just relying on what I'm saying! Rely on His very words!
As I said before, questions, you know how to reach me. Thanks y'all.
I phileo lot of ya!

» Due to people's complains I'm back... I guess
Still, I'm just going to type my messages, nada mas.
"Give thanks to our Lord and King, for His love endures forever"
How many people believe that? I mean how many people REALLY REALLY believe that?
"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33)
How many people believe that? I mean how many people REALLY REALLY believe that?
I don't know, some people may say "I do" but do you realize how faithful He is to His promise?
Matthew 6:33 is referring to how people worry "What to wear, what to eat, and what to drink" and Jesus said seek God's kingdom first, then you won't have to worry about it.
Some may think, well... if He would give us all these things, why aren't all Christians filthy rich?
Let's face it, Jesus promised to give our basic needs. What people don't realize is He has given SO MUCH more than that.
You think I'm lying? I hope not. Let me take one by one.
How long have you been breathing? All your life right? To survive, you just need breathe every 30 seconds. It'll be painful, but ya know what? That's the bare minimum.
I like water a lot. I mean, I drink water like 10 bottles a day. You know what? You only need to be hydrated every 3 days to survive. Bare minimum. Painful, yes. Will you be alive? Yes.
I like eating, I mean I enjoy it. Have you ever thought how much food you really need? With water, about 45 days. Without water, probably around 3 days. Painful, as I said, yes. Still that's the bare minimum.
Seriously, is it not God's love? God gives what is just enough? No No No, He gives MORE than what is just enough.
I can just sit here and do nothing but what's bare minimum and die, but guess what? God has plans, ok everybody get this, He has PLANS for EVERYBODY. If it doesn't make you go WHOA.... you are not me...
Ok, enough cheesy stuff. In Bible, God said 7 times that He will not forsake us (Deuteranomy 31:6, 8, Joshua 1:5, 1 Kings 8:57, Psalm 9:10; 94:14, Hebrew 13:5). Once is great enough, but 7? I don't know if it's coincident, but 7 is perfect number. I mean 7 is perfect number in Bible. He made Sabbath the 7th day for one thing, then He made Joshua circle around Jericho for 7 days and 7 time in 7th day. (Joshua 6:10-16 and check out all the sevens, yo). Is that all? No, Matthew 18:21-22. Not just 7 times, but 77 times. Hope no one's been counting to forgive only 7 times, because what 7 meant perfection, meaning forgive for everything.
Sorry I got off track, I get excited over number seven. So far God kept His promise. Heck, if He kept it for last.... only God knows how long, why won't He in future?
If anyone bear questions, feel free to Email me, IM me, or anything.
Thanks for reading.
I phileo (brotherly love) lot of ya.

» Re-awakening
Wow.... I just read most awesome verse. I want it to be my prayer. It brings tears to my eyes (I do mean it)
Jermiah 42:5
Then they said to Jeremiah, "May the Lord be a true and faithful witness against us if we do not act in accordance with everything the Lord your God sends you to tell us. Whether it is favorable or unfavorable, we will obey the Lord our God, to whom we are sending you, so that it will go well with us, for we will obey the Lord our God.
Now look. They did not say "when it is good to us" or "whenever we feel like" just "Whatever God tells us." If this isn't the example of faithfulness, I know not what it would be.
Why did I end up at the Jeremiah, out of all the places. My personal experience, it is not the most common place where sermons come from or people read. Yet... I stumbled upon it yesterday. I read it starting chapter 36. Something caught my eyes "Whenever Jehudi had read three or four columns of the scroll, the king cut them off with a scribe's knife and threw them into the firepot. until the entire scroll was burned in the fire." Now it's interesting why "Three or Four" which actually refers to when Jehudi read few verses, the king would tear apart the part of the scripture, end up burning the entire Bible. Which basically made me furious and kinda made me keep reading.
It's how evil a man can be. Then it brought me to thinking of the Sunday. Brian and I had pretty good discussion. I often fell into a pit to belive as a human I have a free will. Then Brian brought up a REALLY good point. I have free will and much as God wills. It felt like I hit a brick wall. Awakening, wow, how much more time must I spend on scripture and I will.
Then also reminded me of the whole "Doctrine of Election" which was a huge mess. I was way tired but tried to understand it. When we are not saved, we do not have free will. We believe we have free will, but we are bound by sin, which we do sin's bidding which makes it look like one's free will which is actually slavery to sin. That's huge. God also chooses to open and choose who will be saved. Then I brought illustration to the confused "dead can only be doing what it can do, being dead. When spiritually dead, you can only be bound by flesh-the sin. Only way a dead can move is if outer force can move it, which in spiritual case be God."
But what I want to say is this. If God is speaking to you, then answer Him. It won't do you whole lot of good if you refuse, cause you're disobeying God. Trust in Him and follow Him with all your heart. He will take care of the eternity.
If you have question, you have my email, and if not just leave a comment and I'll try to answer you the best I can.
"Commit your way to the Lord, trust in Him, and He will do this." Psalm 37:5

» Follow your heart, it'll guide you.
How many times does that theme appear on TV, movie, etc. Seems right, doesn't it? I mean, follow what feel is right, and don't do what doesn't feel right. No... not really. What is heart-aside from the small organ that pumps blood, it's simply feelings. Feelings, emotions to be exact. So in a sense, follow your emotions, it'll take you where you need to go. For some reason it doesn't sound as right as follow your heart. Why doesn't it? It is same concept. Following the heart, follow what you think is right, follow your intuition, they are all the same thing. Let's be honest, intuition is not something that's really reliable. As an average person, I probably have 10-20% chance of getting things right relying on intuition alone. That statistic is not that amazing to me, it's like going to a psychic who have 10% chance of getting things right and paying him or her. Then there's emotion. What a swell bunch, what else can make me feel happiness and pleasure and satisfaction. Of course to feel those emotions, you must do such to achieve them. Hence the emotions can be controlled, you can control what you feel. Strange? Let me elaborate. There is a chocolate bar in front of me. Then I'm left with two choices. I can either eat it or not eat it. If I eat it, I'll feel pleasure due to its sweetness, and if I don't, I'll feel hunger. Ok, so it's not the best example, here's another. My buddy used to annoy the heck out of me. He used to always get on my nerves. Now we are buddies now. Whatever happened to frustration between us? We chose to let it go by us. That's one side of emotion, the part that's controlled. There's another side that is less controllable. Because we are human, we cannot sustain a constant emotional level-unless you have none or dead. Normally, emotion creates a sine function, a set of curve that moves up and down. It goes down as much as it goes up. It goes up as much as it goes down. Unless you use drug of course, then it's altered. The part that's not really controlled is a more broad. Not specific. My down time is usually around birthday, which just makes my life look horrid. Then just the phase is passed, I'm just normal self again. Then goes to hyper, then goes to original sine function. Still that does not stop me from trying to control my frustrations. Sometimes, I just let it all go at once. Hence the ranting. Mine is usually slow rise and slow fall, so when it falls, it lasts longer. Let's get straight back to the point. Why did I jabber about the emotion for this long? Simple, don't follow your heart. Heart refers to emotions, and as you read, it can be altered so quickly. Trust logic and God. God of course knows everything, emotion is the variable and God is the constant. Really, don't follow your heart.

» Perhaps things are looking up for me again.
Rae's finally over her depression. Whoo! Which I've been waiting for... longer than necessary. Way too long... forever it seems.
Then today, I hung out with my first tristate friend-Randal. I know this is first time his name has been appeared here. But, I have not seen him for an entire year and more. So yea, we had fun. He's planning on philasophy minor. WHich I tried to talk him out, but it's impossible. So talked for an hour during supper. Then we to his house to play guitar and halo. Then when we were back at my house, we talked for 50 minutes in parking lot. Quoting this before I forget. "Faith is stupidest thing. It's stupid, it's not logical, it's completely illogical. It's like following some one by a hand in a pitch black. It's the stupidest thing. Yet it is most essential."
Yea, I heard my head going "OUCH!" after that. Yea, I can't stop him, he's always thinking. His brain never stops. Maybe that's why we clicked so quickly. We love to think. He writes well too. Bah... Well, I need my sleep now. So I'll be off.

» Some deep thoughts.
I drugged myself with tylenol pm to sleep last night. Which lasted another hour after I woke up. Anyways... some deep thoughts to leave ya with...
A missionary was evangelizing a native tribe in a jungle. Where he came from, he had lots and lots of pineapples. So he brought pineapple saplings from his homeland and hired natives to plant the sapling. After 3 long years, the pineapple trees started to grow fruits. He was ecstatic! He was so happy that he can have pineapples as much as he wish. Until it grew, he would walk around the farm, waiting it to grow. Then when the pineapples were finally edible, they would disappear. Eventually he learned the natives were taking them.
The law of the jungle was planter is the keeper. Though the missionary tried to explain that the trees are his, hence natives should not take them. No matter what he did, they took them anyways. He tried to pay them, persuade them, he even at one point closed his hospital.
For 8 long years, it continued like so. At one fateful day, he gave up his rights for the pineapple farm. He announced the right now is with God. Surprisingly, the natives stopped taking the pineapples. Why? Because they would be stealing from God, and they did not wish to do such.
The missionary changed as well. He gave everything to God, and due to his change, he set a living example of Christianity and many natives turned to God.
In the face of truth, when one try to take what is God's, he or she is the one that ends up with loss. When everything is to God, he provides. Still, we keeps holding on to whatever we do not wish to give up.
What is your pineapple...?
